2nd ReSEED Event for SEED Leaders: Apply Now!

We're excited to announce another new opportunity for previously trained SEED leaders. ReSEED: Revisit, Renew, Recharge will be a three-day gathering for SEED leaders to reunite and recharge at a time when our work in educational equity is as urgently needed as ever. More specifically, we will be working on sharing and developing our facilitation skills both through session planning and through exercises modeling challenging situations during SEED seminars.

Date and time: Noon on Thursday, October 8 to noon on Saturday, October 10, 2015.

Place: Wellesley, Massachusetts

The cost for ReSEED will be $1600/person which will include food and accommodations (four days and three nights) but not travel costs. ReSEED participants may also attend the Celebrating Peggy McIntosh events (from noon on Saturday, October 10 through Sunday, October 11), at no additional cost.

Applications are due by August 30, 2015 so that participants can be notified on a rolling basis in order to make travel plans. As this is our second ReSEED, we do not anticipate being able to accept all applicants. We will be seeking to build a diverse small group of individuals (20-23) so that we can test our new model in order to offer it again in the near future. SEED Lead Team members will select participants based on a review of applications.

A $800 deposit must be made by September 15 with full payment ($1600) preferred. Full payments are due by October 15. Full refunds will be made until September 15, after which time the deposit is nonrefundable. Information on how to pay will be sent upon acceptance.

We currently have partial scholarship funds available. Please indicate in your application if you are interested in learning more about these.

Our hope is that this is the second of many ReSEED sessions to come. If this session time does not work for you but you are interested in a future session, please let us know and we will keep you posted.
